On April 21, 2010 Building Brains Educational Programs was invited to the Great Day Houston television program hosted by Deborah Duncan. The subject of the show was summer camps, and we enjoyed demonstrating some of our equipment and sharing our company philosophy, “We wrap our HANDS and heads around a problem”. Fort Bend ISD celebrated a milestone at its fourth annual Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science (GEMS) event, with a record 240 girls in grades K-5 attending at Anne Sullivan Elementary School. The GEMS event, designed to inspire young girls through hands-on STEM activities, featured guest speaker Dr. Sandra Moore, a NASA Flight Controller, and various interactive sessions led by Success Zone vendors, including Building Brains. The event aims to ignite passion and interest in STEM careers among elementary school girls, providing them with unique opportunities to explore and learn.
